We hadn’t planned on visiting Anda as it’s about three hours north of Panglao, and on paper, it felt a little out of the way. But we had a full week on Bohol, and after a few conversations with our homestay owners, we were convinced it was worth the trip.
They were right.
Anda ended up being one of the most peaceful parts of our trip. The beaches were quiet, the water was unbelievably clear, and the snorkeling was some of the best I’ve done straight from shore. Oliver was able to get in a few good dives, and I got to do a whole lot of nothing in the best way. It also felt a little romantic, which made it even better for the two of us.
If you’re planning a visit and looking for the best beach resorts in Anda Bohol, these five places stood out to us. We only stayed at one, but others we visited or met people staying there, and we think each one has something special that makes it worth checking out.

Why Anda is Worth the Trip – Our Experience
After a few days in Panglao, we were ready for something quieter. We had time to spare and kept hearing about this place called Anda from the locals we talked to. It sounded pretty chill, with beaches that weren’t packed and snorkeling you could do right off the shore. So we booked a van and made the three-hour drive north.
The change of pace was immediate. The beaches in Anda were almost empty, the kind of soft white sand that feels untouched. We stayed in a resort right on the water, and every morning felt like our own private little paradise. I could walk out with my coffee and not see another soul, just calm waves and sunrise colors.
Oliver went diving a couple of times while I snorkeled in front of the resort. The coral wasn’t far from shore, and we saw so many fish that I lost count. It was simple, beautiful, and quiet. No beach parties, no big crowds, just space to breathe. It also had this naturally romantic feel, slow evenings, warm breezes, and a kind of stillness you don’t get in the busier parts of Bohol.
Anda Beach Bohol Philippines is not the most convenient place to get to, but for us, it was more than worth it.
The Best Beach Resorts in Anda Bohol
Anda’s still a small town, so there aren’t a ton of resorts to choose from, but honestly, you don’t need many. These five spots have everything you’d want for a peaceful beach escape.
1. Anda White Beach Resort // Most Popular Anda Resort Bohol Has
Anda White Beach Resort is easily the most popular place to stay in Anda, and it’s not hard to see why. The resort sits right on White Beach, a long, soft stretch of sand that’s easily one of the most beautiful beaches in Bohol.
The bungalows are simple and clean, with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There’s a dive shop right next door, which is great if you’re planning to spend time underwater, and the restaurant has incredible reviews for its food. The pool overlooks the beach and is the perfect place to chill out, read a book, and just enjoy yourself.

2. Casa Amihan // Our Favorite Anda Resort
This is where we stayed, and it was perfect for what we were looking for. The view from our balcony, with that clear turquoise water, really sold me on the place.
Casa Amihan is ideal if you’re not into big resorts, which is exactly why we loved it. It has a laid-back, homey vibe that makes it feel like a real escape from the busier parts of Bohol. The rooms are spacious, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The fresh fish from the restaurant was delicious, and having coffee in the morning while overlooking the ocean was definitely the highlight of my day.
If you’re after a peaceful, comfortable stay without the crowds, this is the place.

3. Blue Star Dive and Resort
Blue Star is a great pick if you’re into diving, but honestly, the snorkeling right off the beach is just as good. Some of the best underwater spots are literally steps from the resort making it perfect for low-effort exploring.
We almost booked this place ourselves, but it sold out before we made the call. That ocean view bungalow looks amazing. They also offer a shuttle if you’re heading straight from the airport, which makes getting to Anda way easier.
They also offer massage services, have an on site restaurant, and an outdoor swimming pool with an open air bath. For anyone who loves diving and wants a peaceful getaway, Blue Star Dive and Resort is one of the best private beach resorts in Anda Bohol.

4. J&R Residence // One of the Best Luxury Beach Resorts in Anda Bohol
This one’s a solid all-around pick, especially if you’re after a quiet stay with great service. It sits on a private beach, so you get direct access to the water without any of the crowds — just you, the ocean, and that sea breeze.
The property is small and peaceful, with just a handful of rooms, which makes it feel more personal and a little bit exclusive. It’s also got a bit of a luxe touch without trying too hard, spacious, spotless rooms, beautiful ocean views, and a calm, grown-up vibe.
There’s a dive center on-site too, so if you’re hoping to spend time underwater, you won’t even have to leave the property. For something laid-back, well-run, and quietly luxurious, J&R Residence is a great base for exploring Anda.

5. Cabagnow Seaside Resort // One of the Most Affordable Beach Resorts in Anda Bohol
Set in a lush green garden, Cabagnow Seaside Resort has this peaceful, tucked-away feel that’s perfect if you’re craving nature and quiet. The beach and the famous Cabagnow Cave Pool are just a short walk away, but if you don’t feel like venturing far, there’s also a pool onsite where you can cool off and relax.
The vibe is more rustic than polished, but it still feels cozy and well-kept. It’s a great pick for nature lovers or couples looking for a slower pace, but still want a clean & comfortable place to make it easy to settle in. It’s also one of the most budget friendly resorts in Anda and offers a family room for up to 6 people.
