1. Rumi Cafe
Rumi Cafe is the first café I ever visited in Amman, and it’s also my absolute favorite! With a super relaxed ambiance and cozy outdoor seating in the shade, it’s the perfect spot to work remotely.
They offer delicious food and drinks, making it one of the best coffee shops in Jabal Amman. I’ve honestly spent so much time here; it’s almost embarrassing! It’s ideal for hanging out, working remotely, or catching up with friends over lunch. On top of that, it’s a great place to meet new people, full of locals and expats alike. While it’s a bit on the pricier side for Amman, their top-notch food and coffee make it totally worth it!

As the name suggests, Books at Cafe is a book cafe located in Jabal Al-Weibdeh. It’s perfect for those who love to combine work and reading. They have an extensive library of books (both Arabic and English) that you can browse through while sipping on some delicious coffee or tea.
The atmosphere here is quiet and cozy, making it a great place to focus on your work without any distractions. I personally would always choose the upstairs terrace for work just because I feel like that’s where you are usually not getting distracted. Plus, their food options are healthy and tasty, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices as well.

While the previous two spots were solid cafes, this next one truly leans into creating a remote work haven, making it the perfect spot for anyone looking to get things done. Dali Space is all about serving the community, and depending on the time of day, the vibe changes completely. In the mornings and afternoons, you’ll find tons of folks with laptops, either working remotely or tackling university assignments, all while sipping on delicious coffee and enjoying a tasty breakfast or lunch. I think Dali is the only place in Amman with a concept like this, which makes it the ideal spot for remote workers and one of my favorite places in Jabal Amman.

Geisha Coffee House is a full-fledged coffee shop rather than just a café. Their coffees are very well-made, and it’s a hot spot for students to grab a coffee to go between classes or during their breaks. I had the Spanish latte when I was there, and it was incredible!
I’d say Geisha is a bit of a hidden gem when it comes to co-working. The downstairs area is pretty small and can get a bit noisy, making it tough to focus. However, the upstairs space is a whole different story—it’s much quieter and ideal if you want to work remotely while enjoying some tasty food and drinks.
Furthermore, it’s just a short walk from Rainbow Street, which is perfect if you want to take a break and explore one of the coolest spots in Amman! Alright, so this last spot is probably best for those of you sticking around Amman for a bit, since it’s a little out of the city center, right across from the University of Petra. Kitab Coffee House is a favorite hangout for students looking to open their books and get some work done on their laptops.
When you walk in, the place has a co-working space atmosphere. It’s spacious, quiet, and has really pretty decor that makes you want to settle in for a while. They also have free high-speed Wi-Fi and plenty of power outlets, which is a total win!
