I’ve had quite a few people ask me lately: is El Nido worth visiting? So I thought I’d put together a quick little guide to answer that question properly. I’ve spent close to three months in the Philippines and tried to see as much of this beautiful country as I could and naturally, El Nido…
Lately, a bunch of people have been asking me if I can recommend anywhere to stay in El Nido and honestly, my answer is always the same. So I figured it’s about time I put together a proper review (and a bit of a travel guide) for it. I stayed for two nights at Angkla…
El Nido Palawan is known for having some of the most spectacular beaches and limestone rock formations in the Philippines. White sand beaches, crystal clear water, dramatic cliffs, that’s exactly what you’d picture, right? Well, you’re not wrong. But here’s the catch: all those stunning beaches and stunning scenery you see in photos is mostly…
After spending almost three months traveling through the Philippines, hopping from island to island, I’m finally putting together all my travel guides for El Nido. El Nido is probably the most famous tourist destination in the Philippines and in my opinion, that comes with a mix of highs and lows. But for now, let’s focus…
Huacachina is one of the most unique places in Peru and that’s saying a lot considering this country is home to Machu Picchu, the Amazon, and the Andes. But Huacachina stands out. One of the big highlights of my trip to Sri Lanka was definitely visiting Yala National Park. I’d never done any kind of safari before, and getting up close to elephants and even spotting a leopard was incredible. Yala National Park is in the southeast of Sri Lanka, and getting there is actually pretty straightforward….
I’ve been traveling pretty much non-stop for the past seven years. Sure, some of that was living abroad and not always backpacking, but no matter where I went, having travel insurance was just always part of the deal for me. Sri Lanka was no different. Travel medical insurance has become a total non-negotiable for me….
Sri Lanka is honestly one of my favorite countries to visit, full stop. I’ve been a couple of times now, and every time I’m reminded just how beautiful it is. The culture, the food, the landscapes, it’s all just so good. And I do feel like Sri Lanka is having a bit of a moment…
Hiriketiya in Sri Lanka is, like I’ve mentioned in a few of my other travel guides, one of my absolute favorite places to stay in the country. Hiriketiya Beach is this small surf town on the south coast of Sri Lanka, surrounded by jungle, with a super chill vibe and a little bay that’s perfect…
