So on one of my recent trips to Corfu, I stayed at this small boutique hotel in Corfu and I genuinely loved it. I wasn’t planning on writing a whole post about it, but it ended up being such a good experience that I figured it deserved its own little shoutout.
Corfu has no shortage of nice places to stay. There are big beach resorts, cute family-run guesthouses, and loads of villas and apartments located up in the hills. But what I really wanted this time was something with charm and character, the kind of place that actually feels like you’re in Greece, not just some copy-paste hotel room with neutral beige everything.
This place here was exactly what I was looking for. It had character, it had flowers everywhere, and it was in the perfect location for a slower, more relaxed kind of trip. So if you’re into boutique hotels with a bit of personality and you’re not into giant resorts with buffets and kids clubs, you might like this one too.

What Are The Best Resorts and Boutique Hotels in Corfu?
Here’s the thing, there are boutique hotels, and then there are boutique hotels. You know what I mean. When I’m doing a proper European summer to Greece, Spain, Italy or Portugal, I don’t want some generic room with beige furniture and mass-produced art on the wall. I want charm. I want whitewashed walls, blue shutters, a pool surrounded by flowers, and a breakfast terrace with actual character. Basically, I want it to feel like Greece.
And yeah, I get that some of those more modern “boutique” hotels are probably great with their sleek design, good service, high-end everything, but if it looks like the inside of an H&M Home catalog, I’m out.
So for me, the best boutique hotels and resorts in Corfu are the ones that strike the right balance. A bit of luxury? Yes. Good location? Obviously. But more than anything, I want personality. I want to feel like I’m on a Greek island, not at a chain hotel that could be anywhere.

My Favorite Boutique Hotel in Corfu – My Experience
On my last trip to Corfu, I came over from Sarandë while I was travelling around Albania, so I planned just a quick 3 day trip to Corfu explore a bit, eat some good food, and chill out. Not that Albanian food isn’t good, Greek is just better, let’s be honest.
I wanted to stay somewhere a bit quieter, so I picked Acharavi in Corfu, a small beach town that ended up being the perfect base to explore the north of the island by car (which I definitely recommend renting if you’re not staying in Corfu Town).
The place I stayed at was Ilena Hotel in Acharavi, and it was honestly perfect. Super relaxed vibe, our room was basically a little apartment with a separate bedroom, small living room, and a kitchen area, which meant we could keep drinks cold, have snacks ready, and make it feel like home for a few days.
It’s surrounded by a lush garden full of flowers and palm trees, and the whole setting just felt properly Greek, peaceful, sunny, and very Mediterranean. The hotel has that old-school charm I love, nothing too fancy or flashy, just an authentic family-run boutique hotel with a small pool, a cozy bar, and homemade Greek breakfast in the mornings.
The host was lovely too, warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful without being over the top. All in all, exactly the kind of place I look for when I’m island hopping in Greece.

Ilena Hotel in Acharavi in Corfu
If you’re looking for something low-key, authentic, and actually feels like Greece, Ilena Hotel in Acharavi might be it. It’s not a luxury resort and it’s not trying to be one either, but that’s exactly the charm. It’s simple, peaceful, and has everything you need for a relaxed few days in the sun. I think it’s the best cheap boutique hotel in Corfu.
Rooms
I actually really liked the rooms here. They’re simple but kind of charming and more like little apartments with a living room, kitchenette, private bathroom, and a separate bedroom with a super comfy double bed and soft linen. I also loved the small balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the garden and pool. That’s where I had my coffee every morning, it doesn’t get more Greek than that.
Swimming Pool
The private pool was great. Nothing fancy again, but it had charm. There were sunbeds around for lazy afternoons, a small bar with cold beers and cocktails, and the whole area is surrounded by a really nice garden. I guess it depends on the season, but when I was there it was all in bloom and honestly just beautiful.
Location
The location kind of depends on what you want from your Corfu trip. I personally like staying somewhere quiet, renting a car, and then having the freedom to explore different beaches, coves, viewpoints, and restaurants. Acharavi worked really well for that. It’s a chilled-out beach town with enough cute little bars and restaurants that we could walk to in the evening, which was perfect for us.

Other Amazing Boutique Hotels in Corfu Greece
There are definitely some other amazing boutique hotels in Corfu worth mentioning. The one I stayed at isn’t super fancy, but it has character, it’s clean, comfortable, pretty, and actually affordable, which I really appreciate.
Some of the others are a little more fancy or upscale, but hey, everyone’s working with a different budget. Here are a few more boutique hotels in Corfu that stood out to me:
Eleals Boutique Hotel Corfu
Eleals is more on the modern side, not necessarily my personal favorite style, but still a really good hotel. The rooms are sleek and stylish, the service is top-notch, and the rooftop terrace is perfect for a sunset Aperol Spritz.

Bella Venezia in Corfu Town
Bella Venezia is much more my vibe. It’s set in a beautiful historic building right in the heart of Old Town Corfu. The whole place has a very classic charm, elegant without being over-the-top. I’d probably stay here if I wanted to treat myself or was traveling with someone fancy. The garden here is stunning too and perfect for a lazy breakfast or a quiet coffee in the morning. It’s definitely the best boutique hotel Corfu Town.

Acanthus Blue
Acanthus Blue is another really nice option. It’s in a restored historic mansion just outside Corfu Town and close to the coast. The interior is well done , classic but not too heavy and their little courtyard is a great spot to hang out, especially for breakfast.

FAQs About the Best Boutique Hotels in Corfu
What is the best boutique hotel in corfu for couples?
Isn’t that kind of the whole point? Most boutique hotels are perfect for couples. If you’re after something a bit more special, like a honeymoon or romantic getaway then Bella Venezia in Corfu Town is a great shout.
What’s the best boutique hotel in Corfu with a pool?
Honestly, if you’re okay with something more low-key and budget-friendly (but full of charm), go with Ilena Hotel. It’s my favorite place to stay in Corfu and the pool area is just such a chill spot surrounded by palm trees and flowers.
Is Corfu worth visiting?
100%, no question. I love Corfu, there’s so much to do and see, tons of stunning beaches, really good food, and it’s way more affordable than some of the other Greek islands. It’s honestly a bit underrated in my opinion.
Where should I stay in Corfu?
Totally depends on how long you’ve got and whether you’ll have a car. If you’re not renting a car, I’d just stay in Corfu Town, you’ll be better connected and won’t feel stranded. But if you do have a car, I’d recommend Acharavi or Agios Georgios Beach on the north side.
Final Thoughts on Corfu Boutique Hotels
I’ve always been more team boutique hotel than team luxury hotels. Resorts are fine, but I feel like they kind of disconnect you from the actual place you’re in. Boutique hotels just have more soul, more personality where you actually feel like you’re in Greece, not just in some generic fancy hotel room.
Anyway, I hope this little review helped if you’re trying to figure out where to stay in Corfu. Maybe you’ll end up booking the same place I did or find another one that hits the same vibe. Happy travels!
