Malaysia is actually one of those countries that I think is pretty underrated. It’s incredibly easy to travel around, the food is insanely good (I’m still thinking about that laksa), and the mix of cultures makes everything feel really unique. Whether we were wandering through the old streets of George Town in Penang, hiking in the Cameron Highlands, or spotting wildlife along the Kinabatangan River in Borneo, Malaysia somehow managed to really impress us. Spotting actual wild Orangutans was definitely one of the most unique things we had done to this point!
