Where Is the Best Place to Stay in Clearwater Beach?

When it comes to finding the best place to stay in Clearwater Beach, we’ve stayed at a lot of spots, but one place that really stood out to us is Shephard’s Beach Resort. This is such a lovely hotel and offers a fantastic mix of relaxation and fun, plus an unbeatable location right on the beach.

We were honestly a little blown away by how convenient everything was. It’s just steps from the water, so we could wake up, grab coffee, and be on the beach in minutes. And the best part? They’ve got a great pool area, perfect for hanging out after a day of sun and sand. You can relax in the heated pool and grab a drink at the tiki bar, which is so much fun.

What really sold us was the overall vibe of the place—laid-back, but with enough things to do that we never got bored. There’s a restaurant on-site where we had some of the best seafood we’ve ever tasted (seriously, don’t skip it). Plus, it’s just a short walk to Pier 60, so we could easily take in the sunset, check out the street performers, or grab a bite at one of the local restaurants.
