The 6 Best Cafes in Cordoba Spain: My Top Coffee Shops in 2026
If you have read any of my other guides or blog posts regarding coffee and food, then you already know that I am an absolute sucker for a good cafe or coffee shop. Pretty much wherever I go in the world, I try to find the absolute best spots for a good cup of coffee.
Of course, Córdoba also had some great breakfast spots, and I managed to try quite a few different places during my time here.
Some were more modern specialty coffee shops (I love a good flat white!), but I also found some great local Spanish restaurants where I could just grab a café con leche and a traditional Spanish breakfast.
To help you guys out, I’ve decided to put together a list of my favorite and best cafes in Córdoba Spain, so you can get your proper caffeine fix in the morning!

What Are The Best Cafes in Cordoba Spain – My Quick Answer
There are quite a few decent cafes in Córdoba, but by far the absolute best one I have been to is a place called C Coffee.
Before I get more into that, I want to be honest and say that I am a little bit of a coffee snob! I just love a high-quality flat white and a really good breakfast. I think that’s a habit I picked up while living in Australia for three years, where they have a truly incredible cafe culture.
Because of that, my bar is unfortunately set super high when it comes to specialty coffee and breakfast food.
The only coffee shop in Córdoba that completely reached that high standard for me was C Coffee. They make an amazing flat white and cortado, and their breakfast toasts and pastries are genuinely delicious. Without a doubt, it’s the best spot in the city.
I also want to mention that because Córdoba is a bit smaller and has a more traditional vibe, it just doesn’t have as massive of a specialty coffee scene in general compared to huge cities like Madrid, Valencia, or Barcelona, which have countless hip coffee shops on every corner.

My Favorite Spots for Coffee in Cordoba Spain
1. C Coffee // My Favorite Cafe in Cordoba
Opening Hours: 9am-7pm
Price: $$$
My Rating: ★★★★★
Menu & Location
C Coffee is the number one on my list and honestly, kind of the only place you actually need to know about!
Yes, I am going to list more cafes in Córdoba in this guide, but truthfully, this was my absolute favorite. And no, this isn’t a paid partnership or anything like that; I just genuinely loved this spot.
C Coffee feels very much like a specialty coffee shop you would find in a much bigger city. It’s a pretty small space, but it has some indoor seating, and the quality of the coffee is top-tier.
We both ordered a flat white to go with our breakfast, and they were absolutely phenomenal. For food, we went with their Reuben sandwich and the avocado toast topped with tomatoes and feta cheese, which were both incredibly delicious. Because the coffee was just that good, we couldn’t resist ordering two cortados for takeaway on our way out the door.
Just a little heads-up: by the time we left around 10:00 AM, there was already a line forming out the door. The cafe only has space for about 15 people inside, so you might have to wait a tiny bit for a table if you visit on a busy morning, but it is 100% worth it.

2. The Coffee Club
Opening Hours: 9:30am-8pm
Price: $$$
My Rating: ★★★★
Menu & Location
Since we were staying in the Jewish Quarter, which is the historic old town, I also managed to try The Coffee Club, which is located basically right in the middle of the neighborhood.
I came here really early one morning when I went on a quick coffee run, and their coffee was really good. However, I didn’t get around to trying their food. From a quick look at the counter, it seems like they focus a lot more on pastries, sweets, and cakes rather than a full, proper sit-down breakfast, but for a quick coffee to go, it was absolutely great.
Also, a little side note: I am not really a matcha person myself, but apparently, their matcha here is pretty good.

3. Banana Coffee
Opening Hours: 9am-2pm & 4:40pm-8:30pm
Price: $$
My Rating: ★★★
Menu & Location
Probably my second favorite cafe in Córdoba that I visited is Banana Coffee. It is located just a little bit outside of the Jewish Quarter, so it’s not super close to the main historic sights.
However, it is very close to the train station, so we stopped there for breakfast the morning before we left town, and that worked out perfectly.
Banana Coffee has amazing flat whites and lattes and it’s almost right up there with C Coffee, and they have a pretty great breakfast menu as well. Their little homemade cookies, in particular, were super delicious.
The only downside is that I didn’t think the location was the cutest or most atmospheric. It was perfect for us since we just wanted a good breakfast and yummy coffee to start the morning, but it’s just not necessarily a super cozy, cafe vibe if you know what I mean.

4. Singular
Opening Hours: 8am-2pm
Price: $
My Rating: ★★★
Menu & Location
I actually really liked Singular too because it felt a little like a mix of a modern cafe and a Spanish breakfast spot.
It’s definitely a little more traditional, especially their coffee, but then they have smoothie bowls and muesli bowls, but also bocadillos (sandwiches) with avocado and ham on them, so it’s kind of somewhere in between.
If you have ever had a traditional Spanish breakfast, you know how basic it can be. And by that I don’t mean bad, I just mean simple, like a sandwich that only has butter and ham on it. Here, it definitely feels a little more modern, so I highly recommend it as a great alternative if you want a breakfast that isn’t just pan con tomate.

5. The Golden Stack
Opening Hours: 9am-1:30pm & 5pm-8pm
Price: $$$
My Rating: ★★★
Menu & Location
I actually have not been here myself, but it is one of the most popular places in Córdoba, so of course I had to put it on my list for you guys too!
The reason I didn’t go there has nothing to do with the coffee or the food, though. It’s just the location. It’s in the newer part of the city center, and while there is nothing wrong with that, it’s just out of the way from all the historic old town landmarks, so it was never really close by.
However, after doing a deep dive into their reviews and pictures, I have to say the coffee looks amazing and their stacks of pancakes look great. I’m not huge on sweet breakfasts, but when I do get one, I definitely go for pancakes with berries, bacon, and maple syrup, which is exactly what they do here.
6. Aromas Cafe Bar // Great & Cheap Spanish Breakfast
Opening Hours: 8am-12pm
Price: $
My Rating: ★★★★
Menu & Location
And lastly on this list, I am putting my favorite spot for a full, traditional Spanish breakfast. At the beginning when I first arrived in Spain, I was actually quite skeptical of the whole Spanish breakfast situation, but it has definitely grown on me a lot.
In case you have no idea what I’m talking about, a traditional Spanish breakfast is often pan con tomate, which is toasted bread with crushed tomatoes on it. Sometimes you can add ham or cheese to it, but bocadillos are also super popular, which are basically baguette-style sandwiches.
In terms of coffee, this is the kind of place where I would just order a café con leche (coffee with milk) and a simple sandwich.
I love starting the day at local places like this because it’s also much cheaper than the modern specialty cafes. I think I spent around 1.50 euros on a coffee and maybe 4 euros on a sandwich here, and that’s it, done! Whereas at a more modern cafe, my breakfast would easily be three to four times the price.

What is the best cafe in Córdoba?
I have tried quite a few cafes and coffee shops in Córdoba, so I think I have a pretty good idea. The best is C Coffee, and it’s not even close. They have by far the best coffee and also the best breakfast food.
Is Córdoba worth visiting?
Yes, Córdoba is definitely worth visiting! In fact, it’s one of my favorite places I have visited in the south of Spain. It has amazing food, it’s super walkable, and it’s much cheaper than other cities like Seville or Madrid.
Where can I get good coffee in Córdoba, Spain?
For a proper good coffee, and I’m talking high-quality flat whites or lattes (specialty coffee), I am definitely going to C Coffee. From my experience, they have the best coffee in Córdoba by a mile.
How to get to Córdoba Spain?
Getting to Córdoba is actually fairly easy. You can either get a rental car and drive yourself, as many people do, or you can do it like me and take the train. I’ve actually been loving the public transport system in Spain; it has served me really well. There are direct high-speed trains from Seville, Málaga, or Madrid all going straight to Córdoba.
Final Thoughts on the Best Coffee Shops in Córdoba Spain
All in all, and I am being fully honest here, Córdoba is not quite as good when it comes to cafes as bigger cities like Madrid, Valencia, Seville, or Granada. But that just makes sense since it’s a much smaller city, so it’s totally fair.
As far as coffee and breakfast go, I honestly would only ever go to C Coffee again. All the other spots I went to were decent too, but C Coffee was just the best by far, at least when I’m craving that type of modern brekkie.
However, for a classic Spanish breakfast, I did really like Aromas Cafe. Though honestly, for that, you could almost go anywhere since most local spots do a good, simple coffee and simple bocadillos. If I was just after a local Spanish breakfast, I wouldn’t even do research; I would just walk into wherever seems busy with locals.
I hope this little guide helps you plan your next morning in Córdoba. Enjoy!
