How Much Data Do You Need for Visiting the USA

That is entirely up to you and what your plans are. Let’s say, for instance, you’re going on a shorter vacation and you’re staying within one city. Chances are pretty high that you’ll be using a lot of Wi-Fi at your hotel, restaurants, coffee shops and so on, so you probably won’t need that much mobile data.

But if you’re doing what we did and going on a proper road trip through California or Texas, especially if you’re driving through more rural areas, then I personally don’t want to take any chances and I always get unlimited data.
